Quantifier (liàng)())in Chinese is different from English. Quantifiers should be used not only in front of uncountable noun, but also countable noun. The variety and number of quantifiers in Chinese is much more and more complicated than that in English.

For example: both cow and horse are countable noun and animals. In Chinese, we need to add quantifiers when measure the number of them. Besides, the quantifiers are also different.
